Problems with my monitor.?

i have an LCD Flatscreen as my monitor...im having problems with it when i watch movies...everything is fine only when i watch movies it becomes redish..i thought it was the gamma...but since doing everything else e.g looking at pictures videoclips from youtube and everything its fine...only when watching movies....sometimes i have to use my sisters laptop to watch movies..please help....thanks
