Is Obama's former pastor trying to single-handedly sink his campaign??

No wonder Obama publicly severed ties with him...I know that friendship should come before politics but if I were in Obama's shoes, I think I might begin to suspect that Rev. Wright was trying to make me look even worse. With his overly zealous antics in speaking to the press on Monday, he made himself look fanatical and crazy, not to mention the Presidential candidate who depended on him. (As as aside, I think that it's a draw between Obama and Clinton; I think they're the same candidate in different bodies, at least in terms of most of their politics. I don't know yet who I'm voting for. Maybe McCain.) Anyway the question was, what do you think is up with this Rev. Wright? Do you think he's trying to be helpful and failing miserably, or could he be trying to sabotage Obama for some reason?
