Am I just stupid, or are all attack dogs high energy?

Any dog is going to be protective of his own home, you could have a Chihuahua be an 'attack' dog. But why do you want an attack dog? If someone were to break in, the purpose of your dog then would be to distract the intruder to give you enough time to make a run for it.
