(SPOILER!!!) Was anyone else pissed at this Transformers: Dark of the Moon Part?

So I went to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon in 3D yesterday, and this part just really got to me. Why did Sentinel Prime have to kill Ironhide? Why couldn't it be Dino? We all love Ironhide, don't try an deny it. Ironhide isn't even one of my favorite characters an I love him. He was Optimus' closest companion and Lennox's best Autobot comrade. Seriously, they should've just killed Sideswipe, he was only in one Scene.
