My friend was crying when we kissed :S?

i have a good friend who has been down for sometime so today i went over by her and just kept her company and we got really close and eventually kissed. to me it was just a comfort kiss but what unnerved me was that she began to cry and started kissing more pionately. is this a sign that she thinks of me as abit more than a friend... or is it just cause of how tough things are for her right now... cause i really hope she doesn't like me that way. :S
