My dog wont stop drinking?

ok so i have a 10 week old bloodhound puppy. He is completely healthy, has been to the vet about a week ago and everything was fine....but he wont stop drinking water. i cant leave his water out because he will drink it all and more if i let him. if i turn the faucet on he will wake up from a dead sleep and beg for water. he has been doing this from day 1. we started watching how much water he drank because he will drink until he is so full he just waddles around. im not looking for people to tell me to take him to the vet, so if thats your only answer then find someone else to give stupid advice to. i know this and i have an appt. but in the meantime, my question is, does anyone else have or have had a healthy puppy who just has a water obsession. no kidney problems, no cushings, no diabetes, just cant be responsible with water? thanks so much!
