How can i get rid of acne scars?

i've recently been on accutane so my skin's completely cleared and my derm told me that most of the scars are probably from redness from the drug and will go away but they're still there. it's been almost a month. i'm not talking about the ones that are just marks in the skin that i'll have to get rid of with laser treatment probably but i've got red acne marks. is there any way to get rid of these without laser treatment. i heard exfoliating might work. does it? are there any other ways? thx in advance if someone can help me
