Can I wash my bandana without it shrinking?

I borrowed my roommate's Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles bandanna for a concert last week and it got pretty sweaty. It's an original from 1990 so I don't want to take the chance that I'll shrink it or do any other damage, but I gotta clean it before I return it to him. Can I just throw it in the washing machine and put it on "delicates"?
