About waxing...?

When a salon does a bikini wax, as embarring as this is, do they do the hairs, too? I can't stand to shave them 'cause they itch and I'm just plain tired of shaving that area. No matter what way I shave, I get a razor burn and red bumps and I always use a new blade, and I'm always well lathered. Please don't give me "tips" on shaving. I want to know about bikini waxings.
